Our story

It started with a teenager and a doughnut.

Hey there! I'm Morgan, the person behind Bistro Morgan. Bistro Morgan started with a simple idea: create pastries that are fun, memorable and genuinely delicious.

I started selling doughnuts as a teenager. What began as a love for baking has grown into a space built on creativity, quality and a team that puts care into everything we make.

Three things we do properly.

  1. Brioche at the heart

    Our doughnuts start with soft brioche dough, then get filled and topped generously: whipped ganache cream, couverture chocolate, the works.

  2. Something new every month

    A monthly doughnut, scroll and cookie special. February 2026 brought the Triple Chocolate Mousse doughnut, the Maple & Walnut scroll and the Lemon White Choc cookie.

Is Bistro Morgan closed?

Our Windsor store is. It had its final day of trade on Sunday, March 29, 2026, closing the chapter on Morgan's first ever venue. Bistro Morgan itself carries on: our range is sold at Coles Express and Reddy Express stores. Find a stockist. Morgan's next venue in Windsor is Arla (@arla.windsor).

Where can I buy Bistro Morgan?

At Coles Express and Reddy Express stores. The Reddy Express stockist list names 130 stores across Victoria, and our muffins and banana bread are stocked at Reddy Express stores nationwide. What's on the shelf varies by store.

Was Bistro Morgan on Shark Tank?

Yes. Morgan pitched on Shark Tank Australia, Season 4, Episode 1, which aired on May 15, 2018. He asked for $200,000 for 20% of the business, valuing it at $1 million. Janine (30%), Andrew (42%) and Naomi (25%) made counter-offers. He turned them down but accepted their mentorship.
